International Research Project "Physics of nanostructures and innovative devices based on compound semiconductors" (PHYNICS)

The International Research Project (IRP) "Physics of nanostructures and innovative devices based on compound semiconductors" (PHYNICS) was officially established in May 2019 at the occasion of a visit of Antoine Petit, Chairman and CEO of CNRS, in Russia where he met Vladislav Pantchenko, CEO of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR).

The IRP PHYNICS is a renewal of the Associated International Laboratory "Nanostructures of Compound Semiconductors - Growth, properties, devices" (ILNACS) created in 2010 to strengthen and develop the scientific collaboration between CNRS laboratories and Russian partners (especially in Saint-Petersburg) in the field of the physics and applications of nanostructures of compound semiconductors.
