Bilateral cooperation between France and Argentina

Continue to strengthen bilateral cooperation between France and Argentina in the fields of science and innovation.

We were very proud and honoured to receive at C2N : Mr Daniel Filmus, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation of Argentina, Ms Adriana Serquis, President of the National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA), Ms Silvina Murphy, Minister-Counsellor, Embassy of Argentina, Mr Guillermo Salvatierra, Counsellor - Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Argentina, Demian Dobry and Fiorella Arza, Secretary and International Cooperation Officer at the Argentine Embassy in France.

The discussions that took place suggest a promising future and a strong collaboration in the months to come.

Birth of C2N

Established on June 1st 2016, the Centre de Nanosciences et de Nanotechnologies / Centre for Nanoscience & Nanotechnology (C2N) was launched in the wake of the joint CNRS and Université Paris-Sud decision to merge and gather on the same campus site the Laboratory for Photonics and Nanostructures (LPN) and the Institut d’Electronique Fondamentale (IEF).
