The startup Spin-ion Technologies, a spinoff of C2N, is selected at France Tech Transfer Invest 2019

The startup Spin-Ion Technologies, a spinoff of C2N, was selected during the 3rd France tech transfer invest (FTTI) organized by Bpifrance, in partnership with Tech Tour. 13 startups were selected among 836 companies. They will join the Bpifrance EuroQuity platform and will be able to participate to the European venture summit, on 8-9 December 2019, at Düsseldorf.

The startup Spin-Ion Technologies, founded by Dafiné Ravelosona, CNRS senior researcher, develops a revolutionary He+ ion beam process technology to enhance ultra-thin magnetic films for both MRAM and HDD applications.

C2N ensures the transfer of its work, through the filing of patents, or by encouraging the creation of start-ups. As a result, several start-ups have been hosted or are being hosted at C2N, benefiting from a state-of-the-art technological and scientific environment conducive to their growth.

A team at C2N is double world champion in an international competition of microrobotics

A team of C2N showed the strength by winning two champion titles in international mobile microrobotics challenge held at Singapore in 2017.
