Laëtitia Baringthon awarded the "L'Oréal-UNESCO Jeunes Talents France 2021" Prize for Women in Science

Laëtitia Baringthon, a doctoral student on the CASSIOPÉE light line, in collaboration with Synchrotron Soleil and the CNRS/THALÈS joint physics unit, was awarded the Prix Jeunes Talents France 2021 by the L'Oréal Foundation on 7 October 2021, in conjunction with the French Academy of Sciences and the French National Commission for UNESCO.

To help a new generation of excellent women researchers emerge, the L'Oréal Foundation, alongside UNESCO, awards nearly 250 grants each year in more than 110 countries through its national and regional Young Talents for Women in Science programmes, which aim to provide specific support to female doctoral and post-doctoral students at a key moment in their careers.1
